text messaging terms

SpotHOA sends text messages (SMS) to a mobile number you give us. We send two kinds:

• A one-time security code to confirm your phone number. We send it only when you ask for it.
• HOA notifications, such as lease alerts. We send these only if you separately turn them on when you confirm your number.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

When you enter your mobile number and tap Send code, you agree to receive a one-time security code by text at that number.

HOA notifications are a separate choice. We text them only if you tick the notifications box when you confirm your number, and you can turn them off at any time in your account settings.

Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of using SpotHOA. You only need a mobile number for features that confirm your phone by text.

We text a code only when you request one. HOA notifications are optional and infrequent.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To stop: reply STOP to any SpotHOA text. We send one confirmation and then stop texting that number, including HOA notifications. While texts are stopped we cannot send you a security code either. Reply START to turn texts back on.

We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Twilio, our messaging provider, processes your number only to deliver our messages.
